Merciful Sound is a student-run record label bringing you new talent from the heart of one of the biggest music cities in the world—Liverpool. Our roster includes a range of bands spanning genres such as alternative rock and folk rock, with regular events in grassroots venues in the city, we are committed to nurturing Liverpool's talent.
Mission
Our mission is clear: to bring a fresh perspective to the Liverpool music scene with creativity and collaboration. We value the independent ideas of our artists, and support where they'd like to be with their careers. Being run by students, we offer unique perspectives from a variety of backgrounds and support each other on our journey. The artists are at the heart of what we do, but our team is also given the opportunity to grow in a meaningful way.
Vision
We envision a thriving community of artists within Liverpool, and we aim to contribute to supporting them. We host events, photoshoots, fundraisers, recording days, and many more activities to support our artists. Our teams include promotion, creative directors, A&R, social media managers, and many more led by students.
